Teacher! Teacher!

Does one have a hero? I do. My hero isn’t seen on movies or found in comics, they are found at school. They are our second parents, they are our teachers.
People come and go, some will remembered and some are forgotten. In life we have our teachers who did efforts for us to gain knowledge, who guides us, who scolds us and corrects us when we are doing wrong, the one who is there when we face the stepping stones of our lives and the person who sacrifices everything just to feed us with knowledge.
Teachers… Teachers… Our teachers touched our lives so much, every time in our learning stages they are here to help and guide us. They may fade or go away but we will remember them because of the sacrifices and the     knowledge they gave us.
Teachers don’t have special powers like the heroes we have in comics and movies but they are a hero for they show courage, nobility, sacrifices for their students. Life is amazing with teachers. How would life be without teachers.

Modern Day Heroes

Heroes... Heroes are those people noted or admired for his or her nobility, courage, & outstanding achievements.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc, that’s the most common personalities that comes in our mind when we speak of heroes. They have super powers or the savior of man. Today not only those who have superpowers are what we call heroes. In our modern world we have a lot of them like our parents. I consider them as hero because they show the characteristics of a hero such as courage, outstanding achievements & the sacrifices they did. Our parents do everything they can to provide our needs.
Our parents may not have superpowers but we can consider them the new generation of heroes.

SONA or State of the Nation Address is the discussion of events and results of the past years and the plans of the president for the country for the future years. It is delivered by the president once a year to let the public know the status and happenings in the country.
Last July 25, 2011, our president, Mr. Benigno Simeon Aquino delivered his speech at Batasan Pambansa in front of other politicians, media etc. President Aquino delivered his SONA without any paper to look at. He discussed mostly the differences of the past administration and the present administration, his administration. He also talked about the controversial coffee of a casino, credit ratings, wang-wang, rice imports, and monorail system etcetera. Her had announced most of the issues of our country. But I believe there’s more , some of these issues have not auctioned or helped by our government.
In the SONA of our President Aquino, he used our native tongue or our Filipino language and I’m happy to know this. But I don’t like the way most of speech points at. I just wish the next SONA will not be a comparison to the past administrations.

ISULONG ANG BREASTFEEDING, TAMA, SAPAT AT EKSKLUSIBO

Feeding babies with  milk from the  breast of a mother. it is the best food that a mother can give to her child.
Isulong ang breastfeeding: tama sapat at eksklusibo, this is the theme for thisyears celebration for the nutrition month. They say that breastfeeding is the best food a mother can give to her child because we all know that the milk from a mother given to a baby is very nutritious .During breastfeeding, antibodies pass to the baby. Some of the benefit of breastfeeding are greater immune health, fewer infections, less occurrence of  SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), higher intelligence, less diabetes, less childhood obesity and more.
Feeding a baby with milk from the breast of the mother, it is simple but yet it is very beneficial to babies and mothers.

Letter to the President

Dear President NoyNoy,
     Good day to you  sir!!
I am very glad that you won the last president election because you were my bet. I was very fascinated by your platforms.I don't know how you will do the things that you said but i have  some things that I want to be put into action.
I hope that Philippines would greatly be changed after your administration and i want to share some of the problems in our community. First, I want to tell something about the schools because some classrooms are occupied by 50 students and it's very hard to concentrate studying if it is the case. another thing is the trees in our  mountains are fading. I hope that you will support any programs that are related in planting trees and the improvement of Philippine forests.
I hope that when you read this letter you will do something for the said problems. And I hope that our country will be walking on a straight path like what you said sir. Thank you for reading this and good day to you again sir!
                                                                                                        Respectfully yours,
                                                                                                        John Vicksen Domingo
